LeadWise Chrome Extension — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how the LeadWise Chrome Extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, and protects your information.

What Data We Collect

• Email sender and recipient information — names and email addresses from Gmail email headers only
• Google account information — your name and email address, used for authentication

What We Do NOT Collect

• Email body content or message text
• Email attachments
• Browsing history or web activity
• Passwords or financial information
• Any data from websites other than Gmail

How We Use the Data

• Contact lookup — to check if an email sender already exists in your LeadWise CRM
• Lead capture — to create new contact records when you click "Capture Lead"
• Authentication — to verify your identity and connect you to your LeadWise workspace

Data Storage

• Contact data is stored in your team's private LeadWise database, hosted securely on cloud infrastructure
• Authentication state and extension settings are stored locally in Chrome's storage on your device
• No data is stored on third-party servers beyond your LeadWise workspace

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. All data collected by the Extension is used solely to provide the Extension's functionality within your LeadWise workspace.

Data Security

All communication between the Extension and the LeadWise backend uses HTTPS encryption. Authentication is handled via secure Google OAuth 2.0.

Your Rights

You can uninstall the Extension at any time to stop all data collection. To request deletion of your contact data from the LeadWise database, contact us at the email below.
